Restoring through Research
UCF RESTORES is a treatment clinic that provides clinical services to veterans, active duty military, first responders, survivors of trauma, and community members experiencing posttraumatic stress disorder and trauma-related concerns.
Our team of psychologists has developed a multi-disciplinary treatment approach that utilizes technology and exposure techniques to reduce the distressing symptoms that often accompany the direct or indirect experience of a traumatic event.
UCF RESTORES is part of the College of Sciences at the University of Central Florida.
Our clinic is dedicated to treating individuals who have been affected by trauma. Our clinical research activities are diverse; including studies designed to elucidate phenomenology, developmental course, etiology, treatment development and evaluation, methodology development and evaluation, and the
systematic examination of resilience and prevention.
The center serves as an educational and consultative resource and maintains liaison with other major anxiety disorders centers nationally and internationally.
About our Team
